TV & Film Credits
Colin Rogal - Lighting Cameraman
I thought you might like a few more details on work I've done for American clients.
As well as my work for National Geographic, Discovery and PBS listed on my TV and Film Credits page, I have a long history of working for US Broadcasters and Production Companies directly. You'll see from my career history I spent six years working at CBS News's London Bureau before moving to World Monitor, a TV nightly news magazine show made for Discovery Channel by the Christian Science Monitor. This is where most of the US awards listed were won. Since going freelance I have maintained links with my former colleagues and still do work for CBS mainly on the longer format programmes. I have shot for 60 Minutes and am happy to offer up its executive producer Jeff Fager as a referee. Also Deb Thompson and Peter Bluff who work out of the London Bureau.
Other US clients have included PBS's Frontline (producer Michael Kirk), CBC's The Nature of Things (producer Daniel Zuckerbrot) CNN documentaries (producer Pat Thompson from their Paris Bureau) and Feature Story Productions (FSN) in Washington for whom I've shot pieces for PBS's Biography and the Jim Lehrer News Hour.
Corporate clients in the US have included Manning Productions with whom I shot a film for United Airlines, and Merrill Lynch's in house video production team led by Rick Meier.
NTSC and HD (30P/60i) equipment is available here at a small premium. I'll always try to offer a competitive quote on the differing formats.
I'd be happy to discuss your requirements anytime. Please ... get in touch.
